About Blake

Hi there! I am a UC Santa Barbara graduate with a BFA in Acting. 

 

I began my performance career through dance. I spent 14 years of my childhood learning tap, jazz, and ballet. I started my acting career at The Playhouse in San Anselmo, CA taking the stage as Kate, one of the orphans in Annie. I continued to pursue musical theater throughout high school and community theater in Northern California. Since then, I have performed professionally in the Santa Barbara area, and internationally with the Prague Shakespeare Company. 

 

During my time at UC Santa Barbara, I have worked with Irwin Appel, Shirley Jo Finney, Daniel Stein, Michael Morgan and Annie Torsiglieri studying various acting and voice techniques. My time training in college has opened up my world of vulnerability and strength, and I have been so fortunate to collaborate with like-minded artists that have taught me so much. 

 

Though I have accomplished much in the world of live theater, there is still so much I want to explore with my own devising. I also can't wait to open up my career to the film and television world. Thank you for visiting, let's create something together!
